SUMMER SESSION TRAINING GUIDELINES
In order to re-open in a safe environment for everyone, we have to make a few changes.
Effective upon our re-opening on Monday, June 8, 2020, these are the changes we will make:
We have REMOVED our spectator area. All spectators will need to remain in their cars if they choose to wait. Only students will be permitted in the Dojo.
We will operate with a rotating schedule for the Summer Training Session to provide all classes with more opportunities to train. The Summer Training Schedule is subject to change, depending on the number of students in each class.
All classes will be recorded (as long as there are students in class) and made available the following day for the students that weren't able, or choose not to attend in person to train. In-Class training is NOT mandatory. If you don't feel comfortable, don't come.
Until such a time that this virus is no longer a threat, we will eliminate all contact training drills and remain a safe distance from others during training.
If you are coughing or sneezing, even if it's due to allergies, please stay home and train via our video classes.
If you feel more comfortable wearing a mask or gloves, you will be permitted to do so. Although wearing a mask, may be the guideline, there is still a risk of the mask creating unhealthy breathing during physical exercises. It will be YOUR choice.
We will no longer offer water from a shared water cooler. All students are encouraged to bring their own water to class.
At class end, we will eliminate shaking hands, but rather bow as a group to say "Thank you for training".
There will be a 30-minute gap between classes. We ask students to leave the dojo immediately after class and we ask all incoming students to arrive NO earlier than 10 minutes before the start of your class. This will allow time to quickly clean and sanitize the dojo for the incoming students.
These modifications will be in effect throughout the Summer Training Session and may be modified as needed.
